Arrival Information:

After you have been granted your student visa, you can confirm your air-ticket and travel arrangement to come to start your study in Australia.

Immigration clearance:

Before your flight landed in Australia, you will be able to receive an incoming passenger card from the flight attendant. You can also able to find this card at counter closed to immigration clearance section.

You need to fill up this card correctly and declare on the items you will bring into Australia.

Alternatively, if you have any prohibited items such as fruits, flowers, fresh meats, eggs products, animal skins, wooden items, prohibited drugs etc, you may choose to dispose off at the disposal bins along the arrival hallway.

At the immigration clearance counter, present your arrival passenger card and your passport to immigration counter for clearance. After clearance, the incoming passenger card and passport will be returned to you.

Baggage claim:

After immigration clearance, proceed down the stairs to pick up your baggage at the baggage claims area. Make sure you are waiting at the correct conveyor systems and ask the airport services personnel for assistance in requires on where to pick up your oversized baggage or find your missing baggage.

Quarantine clearance :

After you have picked up all your baggage, if you have nothing to declare, proceed to the "Nothing to Declare" exit point for exit from the Quarantine section.

If you have bring in some items which you are not sure if you require to declare at the Quarantine for clearance, it is more appropriate for you to make the declaration to quarantine.

If you have some items you need to declare for quarantine clearance, proceed to queue up at the declare section.

The Quarantine and customs officer will place you baggage through a X-ray machine and clear you from further inspection or requires you to open up your baggage for physical inspection at one of the counter before the exit point.

After quarantine inspection, the customs officer will help you to re-pack your baggage and give permission to make exit from the airport.

If you have brought in items which require fumigation or treatment, the customs officer will tell you the procedures and when and how you can claims your items back.

Leaving airport:

All airports in Australia is well connected with public transport Such as train, bus, taxi.
